It was hard to get to and not very welcoming. We changed the circulation to make a beautiful formal entry and deck landing. As we laid out the plants something was missing here, we needed an anchor. The story the followed was heartwarming, connecting back in time to when the house was first built. The whole lower section of the property was lost to the fires and had to be rebuilt. As of mid 2019 we are almost completely finished installing the new landscape. It was clear it had been planted in the early 90’s and what had survived was woody and struggling.
